Bengaluru Traffic Advisory for Chitra Santhe Art Festival
Bengaluru: The 22nd edition of the Chitra Santhe, an annual art festival celebrating creativity, will take place on Sunday, January 5, at Kumara Krupa Road. To ensure smooth traffic flow and minimize congestion, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued an advisory detailing vehicle restrictions from Windsor Manor Junction to Shivananda Circle between 6 am and 9 pm on the event day.
Key Traffic Restrictions
Here are essential traffic guidelines as released by the Bengaluru Traffic Police:
Towards Windsor Manor
Vehicles heading towards Windsor Manor from Maurya Junction and Anand Rao Circle should use Race Course Road via Race View Junction, Trilight Junction, Basaveshwara Circle, and Old High Grounds Junction before reaching T. Chowdaiah Road and Windsor Manor.
Old High Grounds to Windsor Manor
Vehicles traveling from Old High Grounds to Windsor Manor are advised to proceed straight from Windsor Manor towards RP Road.
From T. Chowdaiah Road
Those bound for Kumara Krupa Road should continue straight from Windsor Junction, passing through Old High Grounds Junction and Basaveshwara Junction.
Nehru Circle to Shivananda Junction
Motorists must take the Steel Bridge route to reach Trilight Junction.
From PG Halli to Shivananda Circle
Vehicles should navigate through Old High Grounds Junction, LRDE Junction, Basaveshwara Circle, and Race Course Road before heading to Trilight Junction.
Parking Arrangements
The Bengaluru Traffic Police have also designated specific parking areas for four-wheelers:
- Railway Parallel Road
- Crescent Road (from Gururaja Kalyanamantapa to Hotel Janardhan on the western side)
- Race Course Road (from Trilight Junction to Maurya Circle on the eastern side)
Note that there may be a shortage of parking space around K.K. Road.

To avoid traffic hassles, the Bengaluru Traffic Police encourage the public to use alternative transportation methods such as Uber, Ola, and the Metro.
