NEW DELHI: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday made strong statements about “anti-national forces” and said that the Sangh volunteers would “remove all obstacles coming in the way of the work of Sanatan and saints using sticks (danda).”
Terming the present India a “resilient” one, Bhagwat said that the country “will continue to overcome all challenges. Sangh volunteers will remove all obstacles coming in the way of the work of Sanatan and saints using sticks (danda).”
The statements come a month after he called upon the Hindus to take lessons from the violence on minorities in Bangladesh.
“It is the job of the administration to prevent such indigents from happening, and to control and punish the culprits immediately. But until they arrive, society has to protect itself and its property along with the lives of loved ones,” he had said.
Calling India a “unifying nation,” Bhagwat said, “We need not fear or tolerate injustice. Good and evil have always existed globally, and we must stand on the side of righteousness. Dharma is achieved through our actions.”
“Our nation’s foundation was laid by the dedicated efforts of sages and seers. Despite our differences, we are fundamentally one people. India stands as the world’s most secure and prosperous nation,” he added.
He highlighted that the RSS, in its early days, faced significant hardships, including struggles with basic needs like food, shelter, and space for gatherings. However, he noted that the situation has since improved.
