Definition of flagship
Everything is jelly smooth. Camera is top notch. Battery is decent. Charging is amazing too with the 45W brick. Super slick. A little slippery. It’s too smooth that I get dizzy looking at it. Tons of features are here too but will take another month to explore. Got just now for me and blew my mind with everything. Fingerprint is almost instant. Faster than the physical scanner on Mi. (On my experience)

Got pink line on screen after two years of use
Device does heat up significantly at times.Battery backup is not that great, guess due to hearing issue.Screen developed a pink horizontal line just after two years.I am not sure, if this flagship phone is reliable and can last more than two years.Pros -Camera is good -OneUI is clean and polished – Samsung wallet is great

Great hardware, bloated software
It’s one of the best Android phones that you can get, especially if you want to avoid Chinese companies. The hardware is of really good quality, but if you want a vanilla and bloat-free Android experience, you’ll have a hard time adjusting.

For me it is very nice.
I have purchased this last month, for me it is working fine as I’m medium user, towards battery very good, and camera awesome, over all mobile is nice.

Fantastic flagship and needs little hacks for getting full day battery… Read on
Edit: After the bulky June-22 update, the camera & battery are further improved. Check out some shots with 25-30x zoom.Upgraded from Samsung S10 lite to S22+ 256 GB.Got way better deal in Samsung webstore so my effective price was only Rs 56000 ish.Amazon is slowly losing it’s edge, I feel (last three electronics purchases from Amazon, all ended up unsatisfactory but more over it later)Now, the first time purchasers need to understand the one ui hacks which are Samsung specific.Samsung wouldn’t give them by default as they want to give flagship experience to it’s users and it gives that experience to the fullest. Now that is one heck of an experience.Processor-top notchCameras-supreme (only S22 ultra and may be Pixel 6 pro have slight edge but Not another android one comes close, neither OP10 pro, nor Xiomi 12 pro or others. Tweak with pro mode and you will end up with unbelievable images.) Note that the photos I posted were hastily taken using the ‘auto’ mode just to see whether everything works or not. May update later with finer pics.Fingerprint scanner-ultrasonic and lightning fast.RAM management- unparallel.Software experience- with the demise of original oxygen OS, ONE UI is only slightly more cluttered than the Pixel OS. There are some bolatwares but you can uninstall or disable all of them.Additionally, there are tons of tricks in the OS. See YouTube videos. Now comes the most hated feature of this phone. The battery. To get full juice, you need to apply few simple hacks. For example, disable the ‘sync’ and use battery saver when not playing graphics intensive games and see the difference (check the attached screenshot for reference.). Usually, middle of the line flagships are not for batteries. This is equally true for i phone 13, Xiomi 12 pro, One plus 10 and others. However, Samsung phones improve with each update and Samsung’s frequency of updates is next to none. The only grudge I have is why they skipped giving a 45 W charger in the box. Samsung was the first company which mocked apple for skipping the charger in the box but followed the same after a year. Now the issue with Amazon. I seriously feel that after Cloudtail was disbanded, there is no seller half as reliable as it. Delivery of S21FE was cancelled by seller after reaching my doorstep, the MI vaccumop P, I received was an used one which I was forced to not return as no replacement was available and I received a dead Wehear OX earphone… All of them expensive but came as faulty.I shall now think twice before purchasing any High value item from Amazon, especially when, thanks to the pandemic, most electronic brands now have their own online stores and yes, the handset I received from Samsung webstore was a ‘made in Korea’ one, ideally the country of origin shouldn’t make any difference to the quality, but sadly reality is sometimes different.

Wait & Buy !
Wait and then Buy … Got my Samsung S22+ after a bit of wait & experience is disappointing so far ! While Samsung is rolling out updates for the S22 series (I already had one update patch as of 1st April 22), it has still not resolved my battery issue … The battery life is pathetic so far !I am almost down to 5/10% by 8.30/9.00 pm – morning charge of 100% at around 7.00 am, screen usage time of less than 3 hours . Although, this is data for 3 day only, in my long experience with Samsung phones, I never faced this issue … my last phone was the Note 10+. This data is also with reduced refresh rate – not 120 Hz, reduced brightness than what I normally use, Turning Always On Display off & investing additional money in buying an original Samsung 45W charger. An otherwise good phone will end up disappointing both customers and Samsung alike !!
