Better to buy a second hand phone at this price. Sometimes too slow and janky
I only bought it on emergency as my main phone went kaput and this was getting delivered same day. I’m writing this for people who are giving the phone to their parents or children but are concerned of them clicking ads, bloat and exposing their own data by proxy through their family. Security is a big deal in my work so I did some fairly simple stuff.1.) start without sim, without using existing google account, only using guest wifi such that it can’t gather info of other devices in the network. Set only PIN not fingerprint.2.) set DNS to controlD, adguard or something else that blocks tracking.3.) Now create a new google account, set a birthdate that makes it look like the user would be a minor, connect to your main account as parent. Thus you get freedom to select which bloat to keep or remove.4.)Now go to playstore, install duckduckgo, firefox, microsoft swiftkey or alternatives. Duckduckgo is mandatory to activate App protection in it’s settings which will create a local VPN that filters tracking. Firefox and Swiftkey to replace default Chrome and Gboard but you can use something else.5.) In About phone there is a setting to use 3gb storage as RAM, it will make things smoother slightly. As for review it’s a get what you pay for phone, it jerks at times due to low ram. Max 2 applications can run at a timeThe 90hz is useless because of it. The camera takes decently good pictures at 2x
