Simple Energy Unveils OneS Electric Scooter: A Game-Changer in E-Mobility
Bengaluru-based start-up, Simple Energy, has launched the highly anticipated OneS electric scooter, following the successful introduction of the Simple One in 2023 and the Simple One 1.5 just last month. The OneS promises to elevate the e-scooter experience with its advanced features and impressive performance.
Powered by a patented PMSM motor, the OneS delivers up to 8.5 KW peak power and 72NM peak torque. This allows the scooter to accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.55 seconds in Sonic mode—making it 0.22 seconds faster than its predecessors, the Dot One and One 1.5—while maintaining a top speed of 105 km/h.
Equipped with a compact 3.7 kWh fixed battery, the OneS offers a commendable range of 181 km according to IDC standards. The scooter’s 7-inch touchscreen interface boasts a customizable setup, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, and over-the-air updates, ensuring a tech-savvy ride.

Pricing and Availability
Available in Brazen Black, Azure Blue, Grace White, and Namma Red, the Simple OneS is priced at ₹1,39,999 (ex-showroom). Pre-booking starts today, with availability in 15 Simple Energy showrooms across Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and Mangalore. The company aims to expand with 150 new stores and 200 service centers in the coming months.
