Google unveiled its Pixel 9 lineup only a couple of months back, and now we have already started to hear rumours about its succeeding generations. Well, the Pixel lineup is known to have early leaks, and now details about the next to next Pixel 11 and the Pixel 10a are already out, even though there are about two years before these devices come to the market. Additionally, the Pixel 10 series will drop before these smartphones.
According to a report by Android Authority, the codenames for the 2026 Pixel lineup are already circulating online. The Pixel 11 series has bear-themed codenames, and the Pixel 10a, which will be a mid-range addition to the Pixel 10 series, carries the codename “Stallion” (STA5).
Google Pixel 11 Series and Pixel 10a Codenames
This year, around August, we can expect the Pixel 10 series if Google sticks to its previous timelines. It can be powered by the Tensor G5 chipset from Google. The Pixel 10a should then be unveiled a few months later. The Pixel 9a is expected in a couple of weeks.
The Pixel 11 series can launch in Q2 2026 and is expected to debut with the Tensor G6 chip, codenamed “Malibu.”
If reports are to be believed, the Pixel 10a is in the early stages of development, with Google debating between using the Tensor G5 or sticking with the Tensor G4 to keep costs in check.
