As part of this integration, Ericsson will implement its Signaling Controller solution, optimizing network signaling and management within Airtel’s architecture. Additionally, the deployment of Ericsson’s 5G SA-enabled Charging and Policy solution will facilitate the creation of innovative service offerings, enhancing Airtel’s monetization strategies in the burgeoning 5G landscape.
This collaboration is designed to support Airtel’s gradual transition to a commercially operational 5G SA network, promising to unlock a host of new functionalities for subscribers. The necessary infrastructure provided by Ericsson will be crucial in this evolution.
