Apple fans in India are on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the next iPhone SE and iPad models. However, recent updates suggest that the wait might be longer than expected. Initially rumored for a January 2025 release, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has revealed that the iPhone SE 4 and iPad 11 are more likely to launch by April 2025.
iPhone SE 4 Release Date and Expectations
Historically, Apple has unveiled all previous iPhone SE models in March or April, making a January release seem a bit unusual. The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is also rumored to be rebranded as the iPhone 16E, marking a significant evolution for the SE lineup.
Pricing Insights
When it comes to pricing, the iPhone SE 4 may see a slight increase. Reports from South Korea indicate that this new model could be priced above KRW 8,00,000, translating to around $500 globally. This is a jump from the SE 3, which started at $429. In India, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to cost around Rs 50,000, reflecting an increase of about Rs 7,000 compared to the iPhone SE 3.

Design Changes on the Horizon
Apple is anticipated to implement significant design changes with the iPhone SE 4. Unlike the SE 3, which resembled the iPhone 8, the SE 4 may take cues from the iPhone 14, featuring a 6.1-inch OLED display, a notch, and Face ID. This represents a major upgrade over the SE 3’s smaller 4.7-inch LCD screen with Touch ID.
