On Tuesday, Ashish confronted Sanket and his friends while they were sitting in a car at Model Town. Reports indicate that Ashish arrived on a two-wheeler and opened fire, hitting Sanket before fleeing the scene. Sanket was rushed to Yamunanagar civil hospital and later referred to PGIMER, Chandigarh, for advanced treatment.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajesh Kumar revealed that Ashish had a longstanding grudge against Sanket stemming from a dispute three months earlier. In a panicked attempt to escape, Ashish reportedly carjacked a vehicle at gunpoint near a toll plaza but was soon cornered by police. In a tragic turn of events, he shot himself in an agricultural field in Saran village.
