In response to the attack, Jalna Superintendent of Police, Ajay Bansal, confirmed that three of the assailants have been apprehended, and their vehicles have been seized. An FIR has been registered based on the complaint filed by Tehsildar Gore, charging the gang with obstructing a government servant in the discharge of her duties. The Maharashtra tehsildars’ association has voiced strong condemnation of the incident, urging for stringent action against those involved. A representative from the association noted, “Revenue staffers are the only ones attacked for acting against the sand mafia.”
