Mitchell Starc Lauds the Depth of Indian Cricket Talent
In a recent interaction on the YouTube channel ‘FanaticsTV’, Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc expressed immense admiration for the depth of talent in Indian cricket. He highlighted that India is the only nation capable of fielding competitive teams across all three formats of the game simultaneously. Starc stated, “I think they are probably the only nation that can have a Test team, a one-day team, and a T20 team play on the same day against Australia, England, and South Africa, respectively; and India will be competitive.”

When discussing the impact of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on the national team’s performance in white-ball tournaments, Starc acknowledged the tournament’s significance but emphasized that it is just one piece of the puzzle. “The IPL is the number one product, has all the Indians playing, and attracts international talent.
