Gautam Gambhir (2011-2017)
Gambhir emerged as KKR’s most successful captain, steering the team to two IPL titles in 2012 and 2014. With a remarkable 69 wins in 122 matches, his leadership set a high benchmark for others.
Dinesh Karthik (2018-2020)
Karthik led KKR for three seasons, achieving 19 wins from 37 games before stepping down midway through the 2020 season.
Eoin Morgan (2020-2021)
Taking over from Karthik, Morgan guided KKR to the 2021 final, securing 11 wins out of 24 matches.
Shreyas Iyer (2022 & 2024)
Iyer’s tenure saw a win rate of 58.62%, leading KKR in 29 matches and claiming their third IPL title in 2023. However, injuries hampered his run.
Nitish Rana (2023)
In Iyer’s absence, Rana captained KKR in 2023, achieving 6 wins in 14 matches before Iyer’s return.
