The heinous acts took place during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 when the man returned home for a vacation. During his quarantine period on the second floor of their residence, he exploited his daughter’s responsibility to serve him food, resulting in repeated sexual assaults over seven months. The abuse continued until he returned to Qatar in October 2020.
Discovery and Investigation
The girl’s health issues raised suspicions in her mother, leading to medical examinations that confirmed the child was five months pregnant. Initial investigations mistakenly implicated another family member due to a false narrative constructed by the victim. However, she later disclosed the truth to her uncle’s wife, leading to a breakthrough in the case.
Legal Proceedings and Verdict
DNA evidence conclusively linked the father to the crime, despite his attempts to frame a relative. The court dismissed his claims and found him guilty of multiple charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. After jumping bail, he was apprehended and ultimately sentenced to two life terms and additional prison time for other offenses.
