Kejriwal Dismisses Exit Polls, Questions BJP’s Need to Bribe AAP Candidates

Kejriwal Rejects Exit Poll Predictions Amid BJP’s Claims

NEW DELHI: Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has strongly dismissed the recent exit poll predictions that suggest a significant victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming assembly elections. In a post on X, Kejriwal raised questions about the credibility of these polls, particularly when they claim the BJP will secure over 55 seats.

“Some agencies are showing that the party of abuse is winning more than 55 seats. In the last two hours, our 16 candidates have received calls saying, ‘Leave AAP and join their party, we will make you a minister and give each of you 15 crores,’” Kejriwal stated. He further questioned, “If their party is getting more than 55 seats, why do they need to call our candidates?”

Kejriwal asserted that these exit polls seem to be a tactic aimed at creating an atmosphere of uncertainty and attempting to sway some of his party’s candidates. “Clearly, these fake surveys have been conducted to create an atmosphere and break some of our candidates. But to the abusers, not a single one of our people will break,” he added.

Despite the majority of exit polls, including Axis My India and Today’s Chanakya, projecting a strong performance for the BJP, Kejriwal remains steadfast in his confidence in AAP’s support. The Election Commission is set to announce the official results on February 8.
