NEW DELHI: The issue of GPS spoofing, previously confined to conflict zones, is now posing a significant challenge for aircraft operating near the Pakistan border in India. According to recent reports, airlines have encountered GPS interference while flying in and around Amritsar. In a Lok Sabha session, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, revealed that there have been a total of 465 incidents of GPS spoofing since November 2023.
