CBSE’s New Initiative for Class 12 Students
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a significant decision for Class 12 students who are unable to appear for the Hindi exam scheduled on March 15 due to Holi celebrations. The board will offer a second opportunity to write the paper on a later date.
Why the Change?
According to CBSE examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, it has been brought to the board’s attention that while Holi is celebrated on March 14 in most regions, some areas may hold celebrations on March 15 or have festivities that continue into that day.
Exam Details
Students who find it challenging to attend the exam on March 15 can opt to take it at a later date. This provision is also extended to those students who participate in national or international sports events, ensuring no one misses out on an essential examination due to unavoidable circumstances.
