Bhopal: A Disturbing Crime Shocks Gwalior
The recent murder of a four-year-old boy in Gwalior has left authorities and the local community in shock. What makes this case particularly unsettling is that the accused is a mere 12-year-old girl, and police have yet to uncover a clear motive for the crime.
The Gruesome Discovery
The victim, identified as Devraj Vanshkar, went missing on Tuesday afternoon while his mother was working nearby. After a frantic search yielded no results, his parents reported him missing to the police. Following an investigation, CCTV footage revealed that Devraj was last seen walking with the young girl.
A Confession Under Unusual Circumstances
Initially, the girl insisted that she did not know Devraj’s whereabouts after they parted ways. However, her inconsistent statements raised suspicions among the police. In a twist, a female officer pretended to be possessed by a deity, which prompted the girl to confess. She eventually led the police to the child’s body, buried at a construction site.
Concerns Over Mental Health
The incident has raised serious questions about the mental state of the young girl. Authorities have stated that she will undergo counseling with a mental health expert to assess her wellbeing. SP Dharamveer Yadav emphasized the need for understanding the psychological implications of such a tragic event.
