Bollywood actor and writer Ashutosh Rana recently spoke about the pivotal role women play in society at the Shevolution event organized by The Times of India. He emphasized that women symbolize stability, stating, “If you have a confident woman, she will be like the harbour in any storm in your life.”
Men and Women: Complementary Forces
Rana highlighted the differences in perception between genders, saying, “Purush ke paas drishti hoti hai, lekin stree ke paas antardrishti hoti hai” (Men have vision, while women possess insight). He clarified that men and women are not competitors but complementary to each other. He illustrated this with the example of Lord Shiva as Ardhanarishwar, representing both masculine and feminine energies.
Earth: The Feminine Planet
Further, Rana discussed why Earth is unique among planets, stating, “All the planets in the Milky Way are masculine, but Earth is feminine, which sustains life.”
