AAP Reshuffles Leadership: Saurabh Bharadwaj Takes Charge in Delhi, Manish Sisodia Heads Punjab

Reshuffle in AAP Leadership: New Appointments Announced

NEW DELHI: In a significant reshuffle, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appointed former Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj as the new chief of the Delhi unit. This decision was announced on Friday during a meeting of the party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) held at the residence of party leader Arvind Kejriwal.

Key Appointments within AAP

Alongside Bharadwaj’s appointment, several other leaders have been assigned new responsibilities:

  • Manish Sisodia has been entrusted with overseeing the party’s operations in Punjab.
  • Mehraj Malik will take charge of the Jammu and Kashmir unit.
  • Gopal Rai is tasked with expanding AAP’s presence in Gujarat.
  • Pankaj Gupta will lead the Goa chapter.
  • Sandeep Pathak has been appointed in-charge of Chhattisgarh.

Addressing Unfulfilled Promises

During the meeting, the PAC also discussed the “unfulfilled” promises made by the BJP government in Delhi, including the commitment of providing monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500 and free LPG cylinders to women.

This leadership reshuffle aims to strengthen AAP’s foothold in various states and address local issues effectively. As the party continues to expand, residents can expect more initiatives that resonate with their needs.
