Allu Arjun Attends Virtual Court Session After Fan’s Death Due to Stampede

Allu Arjun’s Virtual Court Appearance: A Tragic Incident Unfolds

Telugu superstar Allu Arjun recently made headlines after attending a virtual court session regarding a tragic incident that led to the death of a fan during a film screening. The actor, known for his role in the blockbuster Pushpa 2, was arrested on December 13 after a chaotic stampede occurred in Hyderabad.

Details of the Incident

On December 4, a catastrophic stampede at Sandhya Theatre resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman, Revathi, and left her eight-year-old son injured. The chaos erupted as a massive crowd gathered to see Allu Arjun, who was waving to fans from the sunroof of his vehicle. Witnesses reported that his actions contributed to the overwhelming crowd surge.

Legal Proceedings

Following the incident, the Telangana Police registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management, based on a complaint from the victim’s family. The actor was remanded to 14 days of judicial custody but received interim bail shortly after, on a bond of ₹50,000. His bail petition is set to be heard on December 30.

Allu Arjun’s Statement

In a statement following his release, Arjun expressed his sorrow over the incident, emphasizing that it was purely accidental and unintentional. “I have been going to the same theatre for the last 20 years, and I have been to the same place more than 30 times. There has never been an accident like this before,” he remarked, urging caution as he refrains from commenting further on the case.
