MediaTek Launches Dimensity 7400 and 7400X Chipsets!
MediaTek has just unveiled its latest innovations, the Dimensity 7400 and 7400X chipsets, successors to last year’s Dimensity 7300 series. The 7400X is particularly exciting, designed specifically for flip-style foldable devices with dual display support, enhancing the versatility of modern smartphones.
Both chipsets boast powerful octa-core configurations, featuring four Arm Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz, paired with four Cortex-A55 cores. This slight increase in clock speed for the performance cores translates to better performance while retaining energy efficiency, thanks to TSMC’s advanced 4nm process node which ensures reduced power consumption by up to 36% during gaming.
