Exciting Leaks: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 on the Horizon!
The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip 7 series are set to launch in just a few months! Ahead of the reveal, renowned tipster @OnLeaks has shared the first CAD-based renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung’s next-generation foldable device.
The design features a sleek flat frame, with dimensions of 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm when unfolded. This makes the Z Fold 7 taller and wider than its predecessor, the Z Fold 6, while being 1.1mm thinner! This puts it in direct competition with the OPPO Find N5 and HONOR Magic V3, which are currently leading in thinness.
When folded, the Z Fold 7 is expected to measure just 9mm (9.5mm including the camera bump), making it 3.1mm thinner than the Z Fold 6. The OPPO Find N5 edges out slightly at 8.93mm, while the HONOR Magic V3 is at 9.3mm.
Under the hood, the Z Fold 7 is rumored to boast a stunning 8.2-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch outer display. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC, feature a robust aluminum alloy frame, and include Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added durability.
Expect improvements in the hinge mechanism, a larger cooling solution, and Wi-Fi 7 support. The battery capacity is likely to remain at 4400mAh, but with a faster 45W wired charging capability, a significant upgrade from the previous model’s 25W.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the new 200MP main sensor, along with a 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto, 10MP outer, and a 4MP under-display camera. Storage options are expected to include 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and an impressive 12GB + 1TB model.
