Yograj Singh Praises BCCI for Retaining Senior Players in Champions Trophy 2025 Squad
Former cricketer Yograj Singh, the father of legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, has expressed his strong support for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) following the announcement of the squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Yograj praised the inclusion of senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, emphasizing their crucial role in maintaining the team’s stability and success.
Importance of Experience in the Squad
Speaking to ANI, Yograj lauded the BCCI’s decision-making process, highlighting that despite concerns over their recent form, dropping key players could jeopardize the team’s performance. “If you drop them, then your team will fall apart. We may have lost in Australia, but we should not forget that we have beaten them in two series too,” he remarked.
